Gulf College was established in 1990 as a vocational training institute in Oman. Since then, it has experienced remarkable growth. In 1996, it received approval from the Ministry of Higher Education to offer an MBA program in academic partnership with the University of Hull in the UK, which helped enhance the level of education and vocational training. In 2003, the college was granted approval by the Ministry of Higher Education to upgrade its status to a college under the name “Gulf College.”
The college is licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation and is institutionally accredited by the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority and Quality Assurance (OAAAQA), reaffirming its commitment to providing high-quality educational programs that meet labor market needs.
