How did Abu Halifa Get Its Name?
Abu Halifa once was one of the five blocks of what used to be called Al- Qusor area, which ,along with Abu Halifa, consists of Al Fahahil, Al Funaitees, Al-Shuʿaybah, and Al Fintas. Abu Halifa was named after the plant (Hanifa), which was used for infertility as well as making the birthing process much easier. It was believed that its flower brings blessings.
