Maidan Hawally, block 11, is located in the northwestern area of Salmiya and directly overlooks the coast on its northern side. It has a strategic location, overlooking a number of main roads in the region. Maidan Hawally is bordered to the east by Amman Street, to the south by Hussein bin Ali Al Roumi Road, and to the west by Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Street. Baghdad Street passes through the center of the area and is intersected from its center by Hamoud Zaid Al Khalid street.
