Opening of the Oman National Museum

The Oman National Museum was inaugurated in 2016, following its official establishment by Royal Decree No. 62 of 2013. Despite being relatively new, it quickly became one of Oman’s key cultural landmarks, reflecting the country’s historical and creative status.

The museum aims to enhance cultural understanding and education among generations by showcasing over 5,500 historical pieces, displayed through 43 interactive systems, allowing visitors to explore the history of Oman and its successive civilizations.
